Wood-MizerReal customers, one global story.
The brief
Wood-Mizer sells sawmills to people all over the world, from first-time landowners to multi-generation family businesses. They already had something most brands only wish for: customers with real stories.
What they needed was a way to tell those stories so that a buyer on the other side of the world could watch and think, "that could be me."
The footage
The Wood-Mizer team supplied hours of interviews and on-site B-roll, filmed with customers in several countries. No reshoots and no script, just real people talking about their work.
The story
Instead of leading with the machine, each film is built around the person: why they started, what the work means to them, and what changed. The sawmill appears where it matters, as part of their life rather than the hero of the ad. Anything that sounded like a sales pitch was cut.
Color stayed natural and warm, close to the wood and the light on site. The rhythm of the mill sits quietly under the voices, so you feel the work without being told about it.
The result
The films became part of Wood-Mizer's global customer story series, used across their website, YouTube and sales conversations. The collaboration continued over six months and grew to include a brand trailer.
"Simply magnificent at what she does. A stellar editor. I've received tons of compliments from other professionals. She was able to pull the thoughts out of my head and make a fabulous mini-movie. My project would not have been possible without her."
